In the early morning hours of April 9, MesquitePolice Officers responded to a local restaurant regarding a burglary. Officers found a window had been smashed and entry made into the building. There is surveillance video of the East Dallas crash and aftermath video of the damage. A department spokesperson said MesquitePolice were following the DWI suspect for several miles, they waited to turned their lights and sirens on until he was nearly exiting the highway.
